We construct the Killing spinors for a class of supersymmetric solutions of type IIB supergravity that are invariant under the non-relativistic Schrodinger algebra. The solutions depend on a five-dimensional Sasaki-Einstein space and it has been shown that they admit two Killing spinors. Here we will show that, for generic Sasaki-Einstein space, there are special subclasses of solutions which admit six Killing spinors and we determine the corresponding superisometry algebra. We also show that…

Non-relativistic metrics with extremal limits

We present solutions of type IIB supergravity with z = 2 Schrodinger asymptotics that admit an extremal limit, i.e. the black hole horizon has a double zero. These solutions are obtained as TsT

Gravity solutions duals to non-relativistic field theories

In this note we discuss solutions of type IIB supergravity with an isometry group of non-relativistic scaling symmetry and in a special case, the well-known Schrödinger symmetry. In particular we

Asymptotic symmetries of Schrodinger spacetimes

We discuss the asymptotic symmetry algebra of the Schrodinger -invariant metrics in d+3 dimensions and its realization on finite temperature solutions of gravity coupled to matter fields. These

Schrödinger deformations of AdS3 × S3

We study Schrödinger invariant deformations of the AdS3 × S3 × T4 (or K3) solution of IIB supergravity and find a large class of solutions with integer and half-integer dynamical exponents. We

Lifshitz spacetimes from AdS null and cosmological solutions

We describe solutions of 10-dimensional supergravity comprising null deformations of AdS5 × S5 with a scalar field, which have z = 2 Lifshitz symmetries. The bulk Lifshitz geometry in 3 +

Hyperscaling violation from supergravity

In recent applications of AdS/CFT to condensed matter physics, a metric that transforms covariantly under dilatation has been argued to signal hyperscaling violation in a dual quantum field theory.

Supersymmetric Extensions of Non-Relativistic Scaling Algebras

This work gives a short summary on the classification of superalgebras with the anisotropic scaling as subalgeBRas of the following Lie superalagbras, psu(2,2|4), osp(8|4) and osp (8*|4, which appear in the study of AdS/CFT in type IIB string and M theories.

Enhanced supersymmetry of nonrelativistic ABJM theory

We study the supersymmetry enhancement of nonrelativistic limits of the ABJM theory for Chern-Simons level k = 1, 2. The special attention is paid to the nonrelativistic limit (known as ‘PAAP’ case)

Constructing Lifshitz solutions from AdS

Under general assumptions, we show that a gravitational theory in d + 1 dimensions admitting an AdS solution can be reduced to a d-dimensional theory containing a Lifshitz solution with dynamical

Gravity duals for non-relativistic CFTs

We attempt to generalize the AdS/CFT correspondence to non-relativistic conformal field theories which are invariant under Galilean transformations. Such systems govern ultracold atoms at unitarity,

Type-IIB Killing spinors and calibrations

In this paper we derive the full set of differential equations and some algebraic relations for p-forms constructed from type IIB Killing spinors. These equations are valid for the most general type

Gravity duals for nonrelativistic conformal field theories.

This work attempts to generalize the anti-de Sitter/conformal field theory correspondence to nonrelativistic conformal field theories which are invariant under Galilean transformations, and constructs a family of metrics which realize these symmetries as isometries.

NR CFT3 duals in M-theory

We extend the search for supergravity solution duals of non-relativistic d = 3 CFTs with dynamical exponent z = 2 to d = 11 supergravity. We consider the internal space to be an S2 bundle over a

Supersymmetry of rotating branes

We present a new 1/8 supersymmetric intersecting M-brane solution of D=11 supergravity with two independent rotation parameters. The metric has a non-singular event horizon and the near-horizon
