  • Antioxidant enzymes from S. mansoni, cytosolic Cu-Zn superoxide dismutase (CT-SOD), signal-peptide-containing SOD (SP-SOD), glutathione peroxidase (GPX), and glutathione transferase (GST) were compared for their relative levels of transcript expression throughout development in a semiquantitative reverse transcriptase-polymerase chain reaction assay.
