In the framework of the relativistic mean field theory, we have considered the equation of state of superdense nuclear matter, taking into account an effective scalar-isovector δ meson field. The effect of the δ meson field on the characteristics of a Maxwell-type quark phase transition has been studied. The quark phase is described with the aid of the improved version of the MIT (Massachusetts Institute of Technology) bag model, in which interactions between the u, d, s quarks inside the bag…

Influence of a scalar-isovector δ-meson field on the quark phase structure in neutron stars
The deconfinement phase transition from hadronic matter to quark matter in the interior of compact stars is investigated. The hadronic phase is described in the framework of relativistic mean-field
ENERGY RELEASE ASSOCIATED WITH QUARK PHASE TRANSITION IN NEUTRON STARS: COMPARATIVE ANALYSIS OF MAXWELL AND GLENDENNING SCENARIOS
We study the compact stars internal structure and observable characteristics alterations due to the quark deconfinement phase transition. To proceed with, we investigate the properties of isospin-
Hybrid Stars in the Framework of the Local Nambu-Jona-Lasinio Model for Quark Matter
The integral parameters of neutron stars are studied taking into account the hadron-quark phase transition, which leads to the formation of a core of quark matter in the central part of a star. The
Scalar-isovector δ-meson mean-field and mixed phase structure in compact stars
The deconfinement phase transition from hadronic matter to quark matter in the interior of compact stars is investigated. The hadronic phase is described in the framework of relativistic mean-field
Hadron-Quark Phase Transition in the SU(3) Local Nambu – Jona-Lasinio (NJL) Model with Vector Interaction
We study the hadron-quark hybrid equation of state (EOS) of compact-star matter. The Nambu-Jona-Lasinio (NJL) local SU(3) model with vector-type interaction is used to describe the quark matter
Octet baryon masses and magnetic moments in hot and dense isospin asymmetric nuclear matter
Abstract.Medium modification of the magnetic moments of octet baryons in the isospin asymmetric nuclear medium at finite temperature has been calculated using medium modified quark and baryon masses

Nuclear matter in relativistic mean field theory with isovector scalar meson
Abstract Relativistic mean field (RMF) theory of nuclear matter with the isovector scalar mean field corresponding to the δ-meson [ a 0 (980)] is studied. While the δ-meson mean field vanishes in

Abstract To discuss properties of cold, condensed stellar objects such as neutron stars, it is necessary to know the stress tensor Tμν, the source in Einstein's field equations, from nuclear matter
Relativistic mean field calculations with density dependent meson nucleon coupling

Asymmetric nuclear matter: The role of the isovector scalar channel

Neutron star matter
Abstract The matter in neutron stars is essentially in its ground state and ranges in density up to and beyond 3 × 10 14 g/cm 3 , the density of nuclear matter. Here we determine the constitution of

TLDR
A relativistic mean-field model of nuclear matter with arbitrary proton fraction is studied at finite temperature and the Maxwell construction through the phase-separation region is discussed, and it is shown that the stable configuration can be determined uniquely at every density.
Recent progress in quantum hadrodynamics
Quantum hadrodynamics (QHD) is a framework for describing the nuclear many-body problem as a relativistic system of baryons and mesons. Motivation is given for the utility of such an approach and for
