  • Insufficient angiogenesis and microcirculatory intravascular clotting have been implicated in the pathophysiology of skin flap failure. Salvianolic acid B (Sal B), isolated from Salvia miltiorrhiza, has been reported to enhance angiogenesis in vitro.
