A cross-sectional study was conducted during period of February, 2015 to May, 2015 with the objective of Salmonella isolation from poultry farms in and around Modjo town and to determine antimicrobial susceptibility profiles of the isolates. Accordingly, at total of 205 samples in which 100 cloacal swabs, 75 fresh feces, 10 litter samples, 8 chicken feed samples, 8 poultry drinking water and 4 chicken handlers’ hand swab samples were collected.31(15.12%) isolates were detected from 205… CONTINUE READING
