We examined whether Saikokeishito extract (TJ-10), a traditional Japanese herbal medicine, exerts a therapeutic effect on alpha-naphthylisothiocyanate (ANIT)-induced liver injury in rats through attenuation of enhanced neutrophil infiltration and oxidative stress in the liver tissue.
