BACKGROUND The risk of endoscopic interventions in thrombocytopenia has received little attention in the medical literature. OBJECTIVE The aim of this study was to assess the safety of endoscopic interventions including evaluation of GI bleeding (GIB) in patients with thrombocytopenia.
