To assess the comparative safety and efficacy of a new parenteral lipid emulsion containing soybean oil, medium-chain triglycerides, olive oil, and fish oil (SMOFlipid20%) for postoperative patients, a meta-analysis of randomized controlled trials (RCTs) was conducted.
