AIMS To determine the safety, pharmacokinetics (PK) and pharmacodynamics (PD) of oral immediate release (IR) lecozotan in healthy young and elderly subjects. METHODS Three randomized, double-blind, placebo-controlled, sequential, ascending dose Phase I studies of lecozotan were conducted.
