SUSY parameter determination

  title={SUSY parameter determination},
  author={R. Lafaye and T.Plehn and D. Zerwas},
The impact of the LHC, SLHC and the ILC on the precision of the determination of supersymmetric parameters is investigated. In particular, in the point SPS1a the measurements performed at the ILC will improve by an order of magnitude the precision obtained by the LHC alone. The SLHC with respect to the LHC has the potential to reduce the errors by a factor two.

SUSY Parameters Determination with ATLAS
The plan for mass and spin measurement of SUSY particles with the ATLAS detector is presented. The measurements of kinematical distributions, such as edges in the invariant mass of leptons and jets,Expand
Measuring the Higgs sector
If we find a light Higgs boson at the LHC, there should be many observable channels which we can exploit to measure the relevant parameters in the Higgs sector. We use the SFitter framework to mapExpand
Extended Scalar Sector and Fat Jets
After a discovery of the Higgs boson the next question is what are its couplings. At the LHC there should be many observable channels which can be exploited to measure the relevant parameters in theExpand
Determining Heavy Mass Parameters in Supersymmetric SO(10) Models
Extrapolations of soft scalar mass parameters in supersymmetric theories can be used to explore elements of the physics scenario near the grand unification scale. We investigate the potential of thisExpand
Measuring the Higgs boson couplings
Once a Higgs boson has been discovered, it is also important to know what are its properties, in particular its couplings to the other particles. At the LHC, there will be many observable channelsExpand
Spins in Gluino Decays
To unambiguously claim that we see a gluino at the LHC we need to prove its fermionic nature. Looking only at angular correlations we can distinguish a universal extra dimensional interpretation of aExpand

Fittino, a program for determining MSSM parameters from collider observables using an iterative method
The program Fittino has been developed and uses an iterative fitting technique and a Simulated Annealing algorithm to determine the SUSY parameters directly from the observables without any a priori knowledge of the parameters, using all available loop-corrections to masses and couplings. Expand
