It is investigated what constraints are imposed on the so-called yukawaon model when we regard quarks and leptons as of SU(5) (i = 1, 2, 3: index of U(3) family symmetry). In past yukawaon models, the effective Yukawa coupling constants are given by vacuum expectation values of fields Yf ("yukawaons") as . In order to build a model without a cutoff scale Λ, vector-like fields are introduced in addition to the conventional quarks and leptons. The U(3) family symmetry is broken at 〈Yf〉~1013GeV.

A modified version of the Koide formula from flavor nonets in a scalar potential model and in a Yukawaon model
We present a modified version of the Koide formula from a scalar potential model or from a Yukawaon model, based on scalar fields set up in a nonet representation of the SU(3) flavor symmetry in the
Accurate Expression of the Mass of Charged Leptons and Neutrinos
Through the long-term extensive research on the experimental data of the fundamental physical constants and the mass of elementary particles such as charged leptons and neutrinos, the present study

Neutrinos and SU(3) family gauge symmetry
We include the standard model (SM) leptons in a recently proposed framework for the generation of quark mass ratios and Cabibbo-Kobayashi-Maskawa (CKM) mixing angles from a SU(3) family gauge
Yukawaon model with U(3)×O(3) family symmetries
A quark and lepton mass matrix model with family symmetries U(3)×O(3) is investigated on the basis of the so-called Yukawaon model. In the present model, quarks and leptons are assigned to (l, ec,
Charged lepton mass relations in a supersymmetric Yukawaon model
According to an idea that effective Yukawa coupling constants Y{sub f}{sup eff} are given vacuum expectation values of fields (''Yukawaons'') Y{sub f} as Y{sub f}{sup eff}=y{sub f} /{lambda}, a
Tests of a family gauge symmetry model at 103 TeV scale
Abstract Based on a specific model with U(3) family gauge symmetry at 10 3 TeV scale, we show its experimental signatures to search for. Since the gauge symmetry is introduced with a special purpose,
Family gauge symmetry and Koide's mass formula
Abstract Koide's mass formula is an empirical relation among the charged lepton masses which holds with a striking precision. We propose a mechanism for cancelling the QED correction to Koide's

This paper proposes that for any M one may choose, it should satisfy the condition UMU(T)=M, where U not equal 1 is a specific unitary matrix such that U(N) represents a well-defined discrete symmetry in the nu(e,micro, tau) basis.
Yukawaon model in the quark sector and nearly tribimaximal neutrino mixing
Abstract For the purpose of deriving the observed nearly tribimaximal neutrino mixing, a possible yukawaon model in the quark sector is investigated. Five observable quantities (2 up-quark mass
Charged lepton mass sum rule from U(3)-family Higgs potential model
In this paper, the authors assume U(3)-family nonet Higgs scalars which couple to charge leptons bilinearly, a simple Higgs potential with a term which breaks the U(3)-family into SU(3)-family will
Quark mass ratios and mixing angles from SU(3) family gauge symmetry
Abstract We explore a framework for the computation of quark mass ratios and CKM mixing angles based on an SU ( 3 ) family gauge symmetry. The four ratios m d / m b , m s / m b , m u / m t , and m c
A fermion-boson composite model of quarks and leptons
Abstract Quark and lepton masses and flavor-mixing angles are estimated on the basis of a fermion-boson composite model where the (u, d), (c, s) and (t, b) quarks are assigned to the diagonal
