@inproceedings{Tham2009STUDYOS, title={STUDY ON SELENIUM ACCUMULATION IN TURKEY TAIL FUNGUS \{ TRAMETES VERSICOLOR ) BY USING INSTRUMENTAL NEUTRON ACTIVATION ANALYSIS}, author={Le Xuan Tham and Nguyen Hoang Giang and Nguyen Thi Hanh}, year={2009} }
Medicinal mushroom Kawaratake Trametes versicolor strain obtained from Chiba University, Japan, was fermented at stationary Erlenmayer flasks 250 ml, containing PG media with Se (10 ppm as selenate) and without Se (control) supplement, incubated at 32-34°C (room temperature in HoChiMinh City). Selenium was added as dissolve selenate Na2Se04, in which Se was enriched with ""Se. Under neutron fluxes in nuclear reactor '^Se will be activated into ' 'Se emitted gamma rays (n,-/ reaction), recorded…

Medicinal Value of Turkey Tail Fungus Trametes versicolor (L.:Fr.) Pilát (Aphyllophoromycetideae)
- Biology
- 2005
Turkey tail is arguably the best-researched medicinal mushroom, with a number of controlled clinical trials demonstrating increased long-term survivability in patients with gastrointestinal cancers, and to a lesser degree other cancers, with oral application of concentrated extracts of the fruit bodies and mycelium, particularly PSK and PSP.
Use of INAA to study the effect of selenium on uranium accumulation in cells of saccharomyces cerevisiae
- Biology
- 1994
As expected, uranium uptake by the yeast influence the retention of selenium in the cells, and Uranium significantly increased the uptake yield of Se by Saccharomyces cerevisiae when the yeast was incubated in the medium containing (CySe)2.

Purification and characterization of a novel fungi Se-containing protein from Se-enriched Ganoderma Lucidum mushroom and its Se-dependent radical scavenging activity
- Chemistry
- 2007
A novel water-soluble fungi Se-containing protein, named as Se–GL–P, has been purified for the first time from the Se-enriched GL to establish the relationship between the antioxidant activity of protein and its Se content, demonstrating that the increasing antioxidant property of this protein depends quantitatively on its Secontent.

DETERMINATION OF THE CONTENT OF SELENIUM IN SELENIUM YEAST BY NAA
- Biology

Cultivating brewers yeast, saccharomyces cerevisia, containing various concentrations of sodium selenite in glucose-glycine-yeast (GGY) extract medium, indicates that this method is accurate and needs less time than other methods.
