The effective deposition techniques of good quality SnTe films over a large area have been of increasing interest in many optoelectronic applications exp. infrared detectors and solar cells. Tin telluride was prepared by mechanical alloying technique and the films were deposited by an inexpensive and commerciably viable sintering technique on glass substrate.
