In this paper, we intend to evaluate and analyze the statefinder parameters in f ( T ) cosmology. Friedmann equation in f ( T ) model is taken, and the statefinder parameters { r , s } are calculated. We consider a model of f ( T ) which contains a constant, linear and non-linear form of torsion. We plot r and s in order to characterize this model in the { r , s } plane. We found that our model \(f(T)=2C_{1} \sqrt{-T} +\alpha T+C_{2},\) predicts the decay of dark energy in the far future while…

ΛCDM model in f(T) gravity: reconstruction, thermodynamics and stability

We investigate some cosmological features of the ΛCDM model in the framework of the generalized teleparallel theory of gravity f(T) where T denotes the torsion scalar. Its reconstruction is performed

ΛCDM model in f(T) gravity: reconstruction, thermodynamics and stability

We investigate some cosmological features of the ΛCDM model in the framework of the generalized teleparallel theory of gravity f(T) where T denotes the torsion scalar. Its reconstruction is performed

Pilgrim dark energy in f(T,TG) cosmology

We work on the reconstruction scenario of pilgrim dark energy (PDE) in f(T,TG). In PDE model it is assumed that a repulsive force that is accelerating the Universe is phantom type with (wDE<−1) and

Realistic f(T) model describing the de Sitter epoch of the dark energy dominated universe

We consider an exponential model within the so-called f(T) theory of gravity, where T denotes the torsion scalar. We focus our attention on a cosmological feature of a f(T) model, checking whether it

Compact Stars of Emending Class One in f(T) Gravity

In this paper, we study the spherically symmetric anisotropic compact stars of emending class one in f(T) (where T being the torsion of the spacetime) gravity. For this purpose, we have used a

A reconstruction scheme for f(T) gravity and its consequences in the perturbation level

The present study reports a reconstruction scheme for f(T) gravity considering the scale factor in the power law form. The equation of state parameter has been studied for this reconstructed model

Behavior of interacting Ricci dark energy in logarithmic f(T) gravity

In the present work, we have considered a modified gravity model dubbed as ‘logarithmic f(T) gravity’ as reported by Bamba et al. (J. Cosmol. Astropart. Phys 1101:21, 2011) and investigated the

Evaporation phenomena in f(T) gravity

We formulate evaporation phenomena in a generic model of generalized teleparallel gravity in Weitzenbock space–time with a diagonal and nondiagonal tetrad basis. We also perform perturbation analysis

Locally rotationally symmetric Bianchi type I cosmology in f(R, T) gravity

This manuscript is devoted to the investigation of the Bianchi type I universe in the context of f(R, T) gravity. For this purpose, we explore the exact solutions of locally rotationally symmetric

A study of modified holographic Ricci dark energy in the framework of f(T) modified gravity and its statefinder hierarchy

Inspired by the work of Bamba et al. (Phys. Rev. D, 85, 104036 (2012)) the present paper reports a study on the reconstruction of modified holographic Ricci dark energy (MHRDE) in the framework of

Cosmography in f(T)-gravity

Being based on the only assumption that the universe is homogenous and isotropic on large scales, cosmography is an ideal tool to investigate the cosmic expansion history in a almost

Equation of state for dark energy in $f(T)$ gravity

We study the cosmological evolutions of the equation of state for dark energy wDE in the exponential and logarithmic as well as their combination f(T) theories. We show that the crossing of the

Birkhoff’s theorem in f(T) gravity

Generalized from the so-called teleparallel gravity, which is exactly equivalent to general relativity, f(T) gravity has been proposed as an alternative gravity model to account for the dark energy

Attractor solutions in f(T) cosmology

In this paper, we explore the cosmological implications of interacting dark energy model in a torsion-based gravity namely f(T). Assuming that dark energy interacts with dark matter and radiation

Statefinder—A new geometrical diagnostic of dark energy

TLDR
It is demonstrated that the Statefinder diagnostic can effectively differentiate between different forms of dark energy and can be determined to very high accuracy from a SNAP-type experiment.

Violation of the first law of black hole thermodynamics in f(T) gravity

We prove that, in general the first law of black hole thermodynamnics, delta Q = T delta S, is violated in f(T) gravity. As a result, it is possible that there exists entropy production, which

EMERGENT UNIVERSE IN THE CHAMELEON, f(R) AND f(T) GRAVITY THEORIES

In this work, we consider an emergent Universe in generalized gravity theories like the chameleon, f(R) and f(T) gravities. We reconstruct the potential of the chameleon field under the emergent

We derive the evolution equation of growth factor for the matter over-dense perturbation in f(T) gravity. For instance, we investigate its behavior in power law model at small redshift and compare it

Dynamics of interacting quintessence models: Observational constraints

Interacting quintessence models have been proposed to explain or, at least, alleviate the coincidence problem of late cosmic acceleration. In this paper we are concerned with two aspects of these
