STABILITY ISSUES FOR DARK ENERGY
@article{Frampton2003STABILITYIF, title={STABILITY ISSUES FOR DARK ENERGY}, author={Paul H. Frampton}, journal={Modern Physics Letters A}, year={2003}, volume={19}, pages={801-806} }
Cosmological data reveal a dark energy with a negative equation of state w=P/ρ 0 to Λ=0 in an assumed first-order phase transition. From arguments about stimulated nucleation it is shown that the critical nucleation radius must be at least of galactic size. The spontaneous nucleation rate is infinitesimal thus explaining the dark energy's extreme stability. Dark energy detection at subgalactic scales will never be possible.

In the course of investigating a universe dominated by phantom dark energy it is found that the idea of negative cosmic time, or in other words, reversing the present arrow of time is valid in such a…
Observational constraints on low redshift evolution of dark energy: How consistent are different observations?

The dark energy component of the Universe is often interpreted either in terms of a cosmological constant or as a scalar field. A generic feature of the scalar field models is that the equation of…
