The Square Kilometre Array (SKA) is a planned radio interferometer of unprecedented scale that will revolutionize low-frequency radio astronomy when completed. In particular, one of its core science drivers is the systematic mapping of the Cosmic Dawn and Epoch of Reionization, which mark the birth of the first stars and galaxies in the Universe and their subsequent ionization of primordial intergalactic hydrogen, respectively. The SKA will offer the most sensitive view of these poorly…

Absolute Calibration Strategies for the Hydrogen Epoch of Reionization Array and Their Impact on the 21 cm Power Spectrum
We discuss absolute calibration strategies for Phase I of the Hydrogen Epoch of Reionization Array (HERA), which aims to measure the cosmological 21 cm signal from the Epoch of Reionization (EoR).
OPENING THE 21 cm EPOCH OF REIONIZATION WINDOW: MEASUREMENTS OF FOREGROUND ISOLATION WITH PAPER
We present new observations with the Precision Array for Probing the Epoch of Reionization with the aim of measuring the properties of foreground emission for 21 cm epoch of reionization (EoR)
Calibration requirements for detecting the 21 cm epoch of reionization power spectrum and implications for the SKA
21 cm Epoch of Reionization observations promise to transform our understanding of galaxy formation, but these observations are impossible without unprecedented levels of instrument calibration. We
Redundant Array Configurations for 21 cm Cosmology
Realizing the potential of 21 cm tomography to statistically probe the intergalactic medium before and during the Epoch of Reionization requires large telescopes and precise control of systematics.
Sensitivity for 21 cm bispectrum from Epoch of Reionization
The 21cm line brightness temperature brings rich information about Epoch of Reionizaton (EoR) and high-z universe (Cosmic Dawn and Dark Age). While the power spectrum is a useful tool to investigate
WHAT NEXT-GENERATION 21 cm POWER SPECTRUM MEASUREMENTS CAN TEACH US ABOUT THE EPOCH OF REIONIZATION
A number of experiments are currently working toward a measurement of the 21 cm signal from the epoch of reionization (EoR). Whether or not these experiments deliver a detection of cosmological
Toward Epoch of Reionization Measurements with Wide-Field Radio Observations
This paper explores the potential for statistical epoch of reionization (EOR) measurements using wide-field radio observations. New developments in low-frequency radio instrumentation and signal
A Map of Diffuse Radio Emission at 182 MHz to Enhance Epoch of Reionization Observations in the Southern Hemisphere
We present a broadband map of polarized diffuse emission at 167-198 MHz developed from data from the Murchison Widefield Array (MWA). The map is designed to improve visibility simulation and
Mitigating the effects of antenna-to-antenna variation on redundant-baseline calibration for 21 cm cosmology
The separation of cosmological signal from astrophysical foregrounds is a fundamental challenge for any effort to probe the evolution of neutral hydrogen during the Cosmic Dawn and epoch of
Initial deep LOFAR observations of epoch of reionization windows. I. The north celestial pole
Aims. The aim of the LOFAR epoch of reionization (EoR) project is to detect the spectral fluctuations of the redshifted HI 21 cm signal. This signal is weaker by several orders of magnitude than the
