Abstract : SINS1 is a simulation of a strapdown INS, written as a Fortran subroutine to be called at intervals by another program. Sensor errors, system initialization characteristics, and navigation algorithm operation may be selected by the user. Each call corresponds to the passage of a set time interval, and the calling program provides environmental dynamics information about the angular velocity of, and specific force on, the simulated INS.
