Las patologías asociadas a los uréteres son poco frecuentes, pueden ser hereditarias como la agenesia, uréteres duplicados o dobles, displasicos, ectópicos, uretocele o divertículos . Por lo común están asociadas al desarrollo de quistes ureterales y a obstrucciones por la presencia de concreciones minerales y cálculos urinarios.
