Yedshi lake is a rural lake in Mangrulpir Tahsil, Dist. Washim of Maharashtra and has less human interference .Rotifers are most common in Indian waters . These are the connecting link between primary producers and consumers of higher orders in aquatic food web. Quantitative and qualitative analysis of rotifer community was done on monthly basis from October 2004 to September 2005 by collecting water sample from five different spots of the lake.
