We find rotating black hole solutions in the Randall-Sundrum II (RSII) model, by numerically solving a three-dimensional PDE problem using pseudospectral collocation methods. We compute the area and equatorial inner-most stable orbits of these solutions. For large black holes compared with the AdS length scale, `, the black hole exhibits four-dimensional behaviour, approaching the Kerr metric on the brane, whilst for small black holes, the solution tends instead towards a fivedimensional Myers… Expand

Black Hole Formation in Randall-Sundrum II Braneworlds.
TLDR
This work presents the first numerical study of the full dynamics of a braneworld scenario, working within the framework of the single brane model of Randall and Sundrum, and finds preliminary evidence that the black holes generated form a unique sequence, irrespective of the details of the initial data. Charged Randall-Sundrum black holes and = 4 super Yang-Mills in AdS2 × S2
We obtain some exact results for black holes in the Randall-Sundrum model with a single brane. We consider an extreme black hole charged with respect to a Maxwell field on the brane. The near-horizonExpand
Gravity and large black holes in Randall-Sundrum II braneworlds.
TLDR
The boundary conditions are modified to numerically construct large RSII static black holes with radius up to ~20ℓ and the RSII solutions are indeed close to the associated AdS(5)-CFT(4) solution. Expand
Black holes in higher dimensional space-times
Black hole solutions to Einstein's equations are examined in asymptotically flat N + 1 dimensional space-times. First generalizations of Schwarzschild and Reissner-Nordstrom solutions are examined inExpand
On the existence and dynamics of braneworld black holes

Phases of holographic Hawking radiation on spatially compact spacetimes

Black funnels and droplets from the AdS C-metrics
We recently argued that the dynamics of strongly coupled field theories in black hole backgrounds is related via the AdS/CFT correspondence to two new classes of AdS black hole solutions: blackExpand
