In this paper we explore the advantage of using the Kerr-Schild Ansatz in the search of analytic configurations to bigravity. It turns out that it plays a crucial role by providing means to straightforwardly calculate the square root matrix encoding the interaction terms between both gravities. We rederive in this spirit the Babichev-Fabbri family of asymptotically flat rotating black holes with the aid of an emerging circularity theorem. Taking into account that the interaction terms contain…

Exact ghost-free bigravitational waves

We study the propagation of exact gravitational waves in the ghost-free bimetric theory. Our focus is on type N spacetimes compatible with the cosmological constants provided by the bigravity

Slowly-rotating neutron stars in massive bigravity

We study slowly-rotating neutron stars in ghost-free massive bigravity. This theory modifies general relativity by introducing a second, auxiliary but dynamical tensor field that couples to matter

Fundamental fields around compact objects: Massive spin-2 fields, Superradiant instabilities and Stars with dark matter cores

Fundamental bosonic fields of arbitrary spin are predicted by generic extensions of the Standard Model and of General Relativity, and are well-motivated candidates to explain the dark components of

Gravitational-wave energy and other fluxes in ghost-free bigravity

One of the key ingredients for making binary waveform predictions in a beyond-GR theory of gravity is understanding the energy and angular momentum carried by gravitational waves and any other

Recent developments in bimetric theory

This review is dedicated to recent progress in the field of classical, interacting, massive spin-2 theories, with a focus on ghost-free bimetric theory. We will outline its history and its

Higher dimensional massive bigravity

We study higher-dimensional scenarios of massive bigravity, which is a very interesting extension of nonlinear massive gravity since its reference metric is assumed to be fully dynamical. In

Hairy black holes in the ghost-free bigravity theory

We study black holes in the recently proposed ghost-free theory with two gravitons, one of which is massive and another is massless. These black holes possess a regular event horizon which is common

On Black Holes in Massive Gravity

In massive gravity the so-far-found black hole solutions on Minkowski space happen to convert horizons into a certain type of singularities. Here we explore whether these singularities can be avoided

Black holes in massive gravity

We review the black hole (BH) solutions of the ghost-free massive gravity theory and its bimetric extension, and outline the main results on the stability of these solutions against small

Rotating black holes in massive gravity

We present a solution for rotating black holes in massive gravity. We first give a solution of massive gravity with one dynamical metric. Both metrics of this solution are expressed in the advanced

Cosmological solutions with massive gravitons in the bigravity theory

A bstractWe present solutions describing homogeneous and isotropic cosmologies in the massive gravity theory with two dynamical metrics recently proposed in arXiv:1109.3515 and maintained to be ghost

Cosmology of the Galileon from Massive Gravity

We covariantize the decoupling limit of massive gravity proposed in arXiv:1011.1232 and study the cosmology of this theory as a proxy, which embodies key features of the fully non-linear covariant

Exact Schwarzschild-de Sitter black holes in a family of massive gravity models

The Schwarzschild--de Sitter and Reissner-Nordstr\"om--de Sitter black hole metrics appear as exact solutions in the recently formulated massive gravity of de Rham, Gabadadze and Tolley, where the

Strong interactions and exact solutions in nonlinear massive gravity

We investigate strong coupling effects in a covariant massive gravity model, which is a candidate for a ghost-free non-linear completion of Fierz-Pauli. We analyse the conditions to recover general

Exact self-accelerating cosmologies in the ghost-free massive gravity: The detailed derivation

We present the detailed derivation of the recently announced most general cosmological solution with homogeneous and isotropic metric in the ghost-free massive gravity theory. We use the standard

Hairy black holes in scalar extended massive gravity

We construct static, spherically symmetric black hole solutions in scalar extended ghost-free massive gravity and show the existence of hairy black holes in this class of extension. While the
