Roseomonas oryzae sp. nov., isolated from paddy rhizosphere soil.

A non-motile, coccus-shaped, pale-pink-pigmented bacterium, designated strain JC288T, was isolated from a paddy rhizosphere soil collected from Western Ghats, Kankumbi, Karnataka, India.
