OBJECTIVE The cyclopentenone prostaglandin 15-deoxydelta-prostaglandin J2 (15 d-PGJ2) exerts potent anti-inflammatory effects in vivo, which are in part due to the activation of peroxisome proliferator-activated receptor (PPAR)-gamma.
