The present study was designed to assess the role of endothelial cell and inducible nitric oxide synthase (eNOS, iNOS)-derived NO in ischemia/reperfusion (I/R)-induced pro-inflammatory cytokine expression and tissue injury in a murine model of hepatic I/R.
