Dear Editor: I read with great interest the article by Bilginer and colleagues entitled “Endoscopic third ventriculostomy for malfunction in previously shunted infants” [1]. In this study, the authors analyzed the usage of the endoscopic ventriculostomy (ETV) in the patients with ventriculoperitoneal shunt (VPS) malfunction.
