Risk Factors Among Patients with Acute Coronary Syndrome in Rural Kerala

Abstract

A retrospective study of patients admitted to the ICU with ACS during the year 2006-2007 was analyzed. A total of 130 patients were identified from the records. Of these 130 cases, 74.6% (97) were males and 25.4% (33) females with a mean age of 58.4 ± 12.5 years with a range between 24 and 91 years.
