Revision of the genus Spermophora Hentz in Southeast Asia and on the Pacific Islands, with descriptions of three new genera (Araneae: Pholcidae)
@article{Huber2005RevisionOT, title={Revision of the genus Spermophora Hentz in Southeast Asia and on the Pacific Islands, with descriptions of three new genera (Araneae: Pholcidae)}, author={Bernhard A. Huber}, journal={Zoologische Mededelingen}, year={2005}, pages={61-114} }
The main aim of the present paper is to delimit ‘true’ Spermophora, i.e. the group of species most closely related to the type species S. senoculata (Duges). Apart from the type species, only three previously described species are included in this core group (S. estebani Simon, S. paluma Huber, S. yao Huber), together with nine newly described species: S. kerinci, S. tumbang, S. dumoga, S. maros, S. deelemanae, S. palau, S. kaindi, S. luzonica, and S. sumbawa. Except for the Holarctic and…

Revision of the enigmatic Southeast Asian spider genus Savarna (Araneae, Pholcidae)
- Biology
- 2015
The first SEM data is presented, supporting the position of the genus in Pholcinae outside the Pholcus group of genera and weakly suggesting a closer relationship with the genera Khorata Huber, 2005, Spermophorides Wunderlich, 1992, and two undescribed species of unknown affinity from Borneo.

Crossopriza johncloudsleyi Deeleman-Reinhold & van Harten, 2001, previously only known from Yemen, is redescribed based on specimens from Kenya, and additional new records are given for 21 previously described species.

Spiders from Laos with descriptions of new species (Arachnida: Araneae)
- Biology
- 2007
A total of 58 spider species is reported from material mainly collected on three recent expeditions to Laos, five species are described as new, and the males of Caerostris sumatrana Strand, 1915 and Eurychoera quadrimaculata Thorell, 1897 are described for the first time.
The phylogeny of pholcid spiders: a critical evaluation of relationships suggested by molecular data (Araneae, Pholcidae)
- BiologyZooKeys

An effort to critically evaluate the implications of this phylogeny for pholcid systematics, which largely support the division of Pholcidae into five subfamilies and proposes many taxonomic changes suggested by the data.
Pholcid spiders (Araneae: Pholcidae) from northern Vietnam, with descriptions of nineteen new species.
- BiologyZootaxa

Five genera and 26 species belonging to two subfamilies Arteminae Simon, 1893 and Pholcinae C.L. Koch, 1850 are reported from northern Vietnam, including 19 new species of three genera: Belisana babensis sp.Nov, Pholcus bifidus sp.
Revision and cladistic analysis of the spider genus Carapoia González-Sponga (Araneae:Pholcidae), with descriptions of new species from Brazil's Atlantic forest
- Biology, Environmental Science
- 2005
The pholcid genus Carapoia is revised and interspecific relationships are analysed cladistically, revealing a biogeographic split between a northern clade (Amazon, Venezuela, Guyana) and a southern clade(s) (Brazilian Atlantic forest).

Functional Morphology of the Genitalia in the Spider Spermophora senoculata (Pholcidae, Araneae)
- Biology
- 2002
The rhythmical deformations of the female opisthosoma by the male palp agree with predictions from the hypothesis of genitalic evolution by sexual selection, and the complexity and interspecific variability of female internal genital morphology support the idea that previous models of sperm precedence patterns in spiders are overly simplistic.
