The discovery of several members of the genus Coletinia Wygodzinsky, 1980, from subterranean habitats (endogean and troglobiont), prompted the review of this genus in the Iberian Peninsula. Most of the samples came from caves of the Mediterranean basin of Spain, from Cádiz to the Tarragona province. As a result of this revision, nine new species have been established: C. herculea n. sp., an endogean from Cádiz; C. vergitana n. sp. from the Gádor calcareous mountains in Almería; C. calaforrai n…
The Genus Anelpistina (Insecta, Zygentoma, Nicoletiidae) in Puerto Rico, with the Description of a New Species
TLDR
A genetic analysis of its DNA and 16S rRNA compared with the available data of the remaining species points to the chronology of the lineages of Anelpistina in this island and their relationships with continental species of the genus.
The family Nicoletiidae in the Canary Islands, with description of new taxa (Insecta: Zygentoma)
TLDR
New data on the occurrence of representatives of Nicoletiidae on these islands and descriptions of two endemic troglobic taxa are provided, considering the new genus as incertae sedis, but probably related to the Palaearctic and Afrotropical genera included in the subfamily Coletiniinae sensu Mendes, 1988.
A survey of basal insects (Microcoryphia and Zygentoma) from subterranean environments of Iran, with description of three new species
TLDR
This work describes three new species of wingless insects belonging to the orders Microcoryphia and Zygentoma from subterranean habitats of central Iran and progresses the knowledge on the biodiversity of these insects in Iran.
Three new species of European Coletinia Wygodzinsky (Zygentoma, Nicoletiidae), with additional records and an updated identification key
We describe three new species of the genus Coletinia Wygodzinsky, 1980, the most diverse of the family Nicoletiidae (order Zygentoma = Thysanura s. str.) in Europe: C. dalmatica Molero-Baltanás,
Intra- and inter-population polymorphism in Coletinia maggii (Grassi, 1887) (Zygentoma: Nicoletiidae), an inhabitant of soil, mesovoid shallow substratum (MSS) and caves--A challenge for the strict classification of subterranean fauna?
TLDR
The high number of specimens captured allowed the first detailed study of the morphological intra- and inter-population variations of this species, and Coletinia hernandoi Molero, Bach & Gaju, 2013 is proposed as a new synonym of C. maggii.
Two new species of Collembola (Hexapoda) from Saliente Cave (Almería, Spain)
TLDR
Two new species of cavernicolous Collembola belonging to genera Pygmarrhopalites Vargovitsh and Pseudosinella Schäffer from “Cueva del Saliente” (Almería, Spain) are described and one other species was found in the same cave.

A new species of Maindronia Bouvier, 1897 from Iran (Zygentoma: Maindroniidae)
A new species of the genus Maindronia Bouvier is described from a single female specimen collected in Iran. It appears close to M. mascatensis Bouvier but displays a distinct chaetotaxy compared to
