A revision of genera and species is given for three families of the Thelastomatoidea (Oxyurida; Nematoda), namely the Travassosinematidae, the Pseudonymidae and the Protrelloididae. The Travassosinematidae combines the Chitwoodiellidae (minus the Aorurinae and Philippinematinae) and Pulchrocephalidae of Kloss (1960), as well as two genera, Binema Travassos and Isobinema Rao, considered as members of the Thelastomatidae by Kloss.
