  • Abstract A revised diagnosis of the genus Epicrius Canestrini and Fanzago, 1877 (Acari: Epicriidae), is presented and four new species are described: Epicrius johnstoni n. sp. (Navarra, Spain), E. longisetosus n. sp. (North Carolina, USA), E. similaris n. sp. (Maryland, New York, USA), and E. undulatus n. sp. (North Carolina, USA). A key to species based on adult females is given.
