Arrhythmogenic right ventricular dysplasia (ARVD) is a clinical and pathologic entity whose diagnosis rests on electrocardiographic and angiographic criteria; pathologic findings, replacement of ventricular myocardium with fatty and fibrous elements, preferentially involve the right ventricular (RV) free wall.
