Carbohydrates are the most crucial nutrient involved in the release of insulin and thereafter for the hormone “leptin” working along with insulin. Leptin is released after the food intake and sends signal to hypothalamus that the hunger desired is met. Leptin receptors are also found to be present in ovaries.
