This worthwhile volume makes worthwhile reading for any modeler and/or simulator but should be of special interest to those in the biomedical field. The author uses the first three chapters to 'review' the fundamentals of calculus and the development and solution of differential equations. His style is fluid and even the rusty reader will quickly understand the approach.
