There are several anatomically and functionally distinct retinofugal pathways, one of which is the retinohypothalamic tract (RHT). In this study, horseradish peroxidase conjugated to cholera toxin (CT-HRP), a sensitive neural tracer, was employed to describe the RHT in the female albino rat.
