We tested the genotoxicity of 3,5,4'-trihydroxystilbene (resveratrol), a polyphenolic phytoalexin found in grapes, in a bacterial reverse mutation assay, in vitro chromosome aberration (CA) test, in vitro micronucleus (MN) test, and sister chromatid exchange (SCE) test.
