Response of Ewing tumor cells to forced and activated p53 expression

Abstract

The EWS-FLI1 transcription factor is consistently expressed in 85% of Ewing tumors (EFT). In heterologous cells, EWS-FLI1 induces p53-dependent cell cycle arrest or apoptosis.
