Based on the stakeholder and reputation theory, we investigate the relationship between CSR and firm performance, using a sample of 56 listed companies from food and beverage industry in China (2009-2014). The results show that the good performance of corporate social responsibility can have a positive impact on financial performance and corporate value, so corporate social responsibility will increase corporate performance.
