The results of a study on the binary HIP 18856 and construction of its orbit are presented. New observational data were obtained at the BTA of SAO RAS in 2007-2019. Earlier, Cvetković et al. constructed the orbit for this system. However, it is based on six measurements, which cover a small part of the orbit. The positional parameters of the ESA astrometric satellite Hipparcos published speckle interferometric data (Mason et al., Balega et al., Horch et al.) and new ones were used in this study…

Speckle Interferometry of Nearby Multiple Stars. II. 2007–2020 Positional Measurements and Orbits of Sixteen Objects
Long-term monitoring at the 6 m telescope of the Special Astrophysical Observatory of the Russian Academy of Sciences made it possible to improve the orbits of 15 objects and construct an orbital solution for HIP 65327 for the first time.

Validation of the new Hipparcos reduction
Context. A new reduction of the astrometric data as produced by the Hipparcos mission has been published, claiming accuracies for nearly all stars brighter than magnitude Hp = 8 to be better, by up
Five hundred thirty-one speckle measures of binary stars are reported. These data were taken mainly during the period 2008 June through 2009 October at the WIYN 3.5 m Telescope at Kitt Peak and
Speckle interferometry of nearby multiple stars. IV. Measurements in 2004 and new orbits
The results of speckle interferometric observations of 104 binary and 6 triple stars performed at the BTA 6 m telescope in 2004 October are presented. Nearby low-mass stars are mostly observed for
Speckle interferometry of nearby multiple stars ? , ? ?
We present the results of diffraction-limited optical speckle interferometry and infrared bispectrum speckle interferometry of 111 double and 10 triple systems performed in 1998–1999 with the 6-m
Speckle Interferometry of New and Problem Hipparcos Binaries
The ESA Hipparcos satellite made measurements of over 12,000 double stars and discovered 3406 new systems. In addition to these, 4706 entries in the Hipparcos Catalogue correspond to double star
Observations of Binary Stars with the Differential Speckle Survey Instrument. VII. Measures from 2010 September to 2012 February at the WIYN Telescope
We report on speckle observations of binary stars carried out at the WIYN Telescope over the period from September 2010 through February 2012, providing relative astrometry for 2521 observations of
The subject of the present paper is the analysis of the orbital elements for nine binaries: WDS 00463–0634 = HDS 101, WDS 03264+3520 = HDS 430, WDS 03307–1926 = HDS 441, WDS 04025+0638 = HDS 510, WDS
Fundamental parameters and infrared excesses of Hipparcos stars
We derive the fundamental parameters (temperature and luminosity) of 107 619 Hipparcos stars and place these stars on a true Hertzsprung–Russell diagram. This is achieved by comparing bt-settl model
The EMCCD-based speckle interferometer of the BTA 6-m telescope: Description and first results
The description is given for the speckle interferometer of the BTA 6-m telescope of the SAO RAS based on a new detector with an electron multiplication CCD. The main components of the instrument are
Intrinsic Colors, Temperatures, and Bolometric Corrections of Pre-Main Sequence Stars
We present an analysis of the intrinsic colors and temperatures of 5-30 Myr old pre-main sequence (pre-MS) stars using the F0 through M9 type members of nearby, negligibly reddened groups: η Cha
