    THE annual report for 1933 of the Apia Observatory, an institution which is controlled by the New Zealand Department of Scientific and Industrial Research, contains seismological, meteorological, magnetic and electrical data for Apia (western Samoa), and climatological summaries for a number of islands in the South Pacific.
