INTRODUCTION Designers of user interfaces require tools that support communication in multidisciplinary design teams [1, 2]. In order to develop such tools a better understanding of communication in design teams is required. To determine what methods or tools would be most useful to designers and what issues play an important role in the use of such tools, we performed an analysis of user interface design practice.
