Renewable Energy Framework Based Single Stage Bidirectional Current Sensorless Converter with Soft- Switching Strategy

Abstract

In this paper, a single stage bidirectional converter operated in AC to DC and DC to AC modes with a singleloop bidirectional current sensor-less control(BCSC) is proposed. This full-bridge ac/dc converter considers both the inductor resistance and conduction voltage drops for accurate representation of model. This converter is utilized in renewable energy system where Dc side a PV system is employed. Also to improve the overall conversion system reliability, soft-switching technique is undertaken. This full-bridge converter is often connected between the ac grid and the dc bus with ac-side current shaping, and the dc-bus voltage regulation. Simulation study is carried out using MATLAB/SIMULINK software.
