Highly crosslinked hydrogel spheres were fabricated using UV photopolymerization of poly(ethylene glycol) diacrylate (PEG-DA) and pentaerythritol triacrylate (PETA) with 2,2'-dimethoxy-2-phenyl-acetophenone (DMPA) as the photoinitiator.
