Relativistic calculations of the isotope shifts of energy levels in highly charged Li-like ions are performed. The nuclear recoil (mass shift) contributions are calculated by merging the perturbative and large-scale conguration-inte raction Dirac-Fock-Sturm (CI-DFS) methods. The nuclear size (eld shift) contributions are evaluated by the CI-DFS method including the electron-correlation, Breit, and QED corrections. The nuclear deformation and nuclear polarization corrections to the isotope…

Isotope shift calculations of Li-like neutron-rich and neutron-deficient Mg isotopes

The isotope shifts of the 2s2S 1/2–2p2P J(J = 1/2, 3/2) transitions for the Li-like neutron-rich and neutron-deficient 21–32Mg isotopes are calculated using the multi-configuration Dirac–Hartree–Fock

Finite nuclear size corrections to the recoil effect in hydrogenlike ions

The finite nuclear size corrections to the relativistic recoil effect in H-like ions are calculated within the Breit approximation. The calculations are performed for the 1s, 2s, and 2p1/2 states in

Relativistic calculations of x-ray transition energies and isotope shifts in heavy atoms

X-Ray transition energies and isotope shifts in heavy atoms are evaluated. The energy levels with vacancies in the inner shells are calculated within the approximation of the average of

The current status of bound state quantum electrodynamics calculations of transition energies for few-electron ions is reviewed. Evaluation of one and two body QED correction is presented, as well as

QED theory of the normal mass shift in few-electron atoms

The electron-electron interaction correction of first order in $1/Z$ to the one-electron part of the nuclear recoil effect on binding energies in atoms and ions is considered within the framework of

Nonlinear isotope-shift effects in Be-like, B-like, and C-like argon

Nonlinear effects of the King plot in the isotope shifts of the 2$P$ fine-structure transitions in Be-, B-, and C-like argon ions are investigated through large-scale configuration-interaction

Storage-ring experiments on dielectronic recombination at the interface of atomic and nuclear physics

A brief review about topical developments in the exploitation of the resonant electron–ion collision process of dielectronic recombination (DR) as a sensitive spectroscopic tool is given. The focus

Collinear laser spectroscopy at ion-trap accuracy: Transition frequencies and isotope shifts in the 6s2S1/2→6p2P1/2,3/2 transitions in Ba+

The rest-frame transition frequencies of the 6s2S1/2→6p2P1/2 (D1) and 6s2S1/2→6p2P3/2 (D2) lines in the stable isotopes of Ba+ were measured with an accuracy better than 200kHz through
