Relative phases of amplitudes for $D$ meson decays to a light pseudoscalar meson $P$ and a light vector meson $V$ decaying to two pseudoscalar mesons will lead to characteristic interferences on the three-body Dalitz plot. These phases may be compared with predictions of a flavor-symmetric treatment which extracts contributing amplitudes and their relative phases from a fit to $D \to PV$ decay rates. Good agreement was found previously for the cases of $D^0 \to K^- \pi^+ \pi^0$ and $D^0 \to \pi…

Relative Phases in $D^0\to K^0 K^-\pi^+$ AND $D^0\to\ok K^+\pi^-$ Dalitz Plots

The processes $D^0\to K^0 K^-\pi^+$ and $D^0\to\ok K^+\pi^-$ involve intermediate vector resonances whose amplitudes and phases are related to each other via flavor SU(3) symmetry. A closer look at

Probing the ∆U = 0 rule in three body charm decays

Abstract CP violation in charm decay was observed in the decays D0→ P±P∓ of a D0 meson to two pseudoscalars. When interpreted within the SM, the results imply that the ratio of the relevant

CROSS RATIOS BETWEEN DALITZ PLOT AMPLITUDES IN THREE-BODY D 0 DECAYS

A recent study of D 0 → π 0 K + K - and D 0 → K S π + π - describes a flavor-symmetric approach to calculate relative amplitudes and phases, for characteristic interferences between D decays to a

Nonleptonic Charm Decays and CP Violation

In this talk we briefly present a flavor-SU(3) technique to study branching ratios and direct CP asymmetries $D$-meson decays. The first part of the talk is meant to set up a foundation, based on

Charmed meson decays to two pseudoscalars

A recent update of data on the decays of ${D}^{0}$, ${D}^{+}$, and ${D}_{s}^{+}$ to pairs of light pseudoscalars calls for a renewed analysis of key decay amplitudes and tests of flavor symmetry. The

Flavor symmetry and decays of charmed mesons to pairs of light pseudoscalars

New data on the decays of the charmed particles D{sup 0}, D{sup +}, and D{sub s}{sup +} to pairs of light pseudoscalar mesons P allow the testing of flavor symmetry and the extraction of key

Decays of charmed mesons to PV final states

New data on the decays of the charmed particles D{sup 0}, D{sup +}, and D{sub s} to PV final states consisting of a light pseudoscalar meson P and a light vector meson V are analyzed. Following the

Evidence for direct CP violation in the measurement of the Cabbibo-Kobayashi-Maskawa angle γ with B∓ → D(*)K(*)∓ decays.

TLDR
The Cabibbo-Kobayashi-Maskawa CP-violating angle γ is measured using 468 million BB pairs collected by the BABAR detector at the PEP-II asymmetric-energy e+ e- collider at SLAC and the result is inconsistent with γ = 0 (no direct CP violation) with a significance of 3.5 standard deviations.

Two-body hadronic charmed meson decays

In this work we study the two-body hadronic charmed meson decays, including both the $PP$ and $VP$ modes. The latest experimental data are first analyzed in the diagrammatic approach. The magnitudes
