ABSTRACT Female Aedes albopictus mosquitoes from natural populations of different geographical regions of Thailand were collected and allowed to oviposit to determine relative Wolbachia A and Wolbachia B densities of their offspring (F1) by using real-time quantitative PCR (RTQ-PCR). An important aspect of this work is that all Aedes albopictus mosquitoes were collected from the field.
