Relationship of duration and onset of diabetes to prevalence of diabetic retinopathy.

Abstract

In a population study of all registered insulin-treated diabetic patients on the Swedish island of Gotland, the prevalence of diabetic retinopathy was determined with ophthalmoscopy, biomicroscopy, and color photography.
