The purpose of this review article is to establish a relationship between pharmacological properties and clinical efficacy of the most widely used broad-spectrum veterinary anthelmintics. The impact of drug pharmacokinetics/pharmacodynamics on anthelmintic efficacy and resistance is discussed.
