The relations between matrix elements of different P- and T-odd weak interactions are derived. We demonstrate that similar relations hold for parity nonconserving (PNC) transition amplitudes and electron electric dipole moments (EDM) of atoms and molecules. This allows to express P- and T-odd effects in many-electron systems caused by different symmetry-breaking mechanisms via each other using simple analytical formulas. We use these relations for the interpretation of the anapole moment…

Electric dipole moments of atoms, molecules, nuclei, and particles
A permanent electric dipole moment (EDM) of a particle or system is a separation of charge along its angular momentum axis and is a direct signal of T violation and, assuming CPT symmetry, CP
Linear programming analysis of the R-parity violation within EDM-constraints
A bstractThe constraint on the R-parity violating supersymmetric interactions is discussed in the light of current experimental data of the electric dipole moment of neutron, 129Xe , 205Tl, and 199Hg
Relativistic coupled-cluster study of diatomic metal-alkali-metal molecules for electron electric dipole moment searches
Recent improvements in experimental techniques for preparing ultracold molecules that contain alkali atoms (e.g., Li, Na, and K) have been reported. Based on these advances in ultracold molecules,
Improved Limits on Axionlike-Particle-Mediated P, T-Violating Interactions between Electrons and Nucleons from Electric Dipole Moments of Atoms and Molecules.
This work constrain the P, T-violating scalar-pseudoscalar nucleon-electron and electron-Electron interactions mediated by a generic axionlike particle of arbitrary mass and places constraints on CP violation in certain types of relaxion models.
Improved indirect limits on muon EDM
Given current discrepancy in muon g − 2 and future dedicated efforts to measure muon electric dipole moment (EDM) d µ , we assess the indirect constraints imposed on d µ by the EDM measurements
Methods, analysis, and the treatment of systematic errors for the electron electric dipole moment search in thorium monoxide
We recently set a new limit on the electric dipole moment of the electron (eEDM) (J Baron et al and ACME collaboration 2014 Science 343 269–272), which represented an order-of-magnitude improvement
Improving the Limit on the Electron EDM: Data Acquisition and Systematics Studies in the ACME Experiment
The ACME collaboration has completed a measurement setting a new upper limit on the size of the electron’s permanent electric dipole moment (EDM). The existence of the EDM is well motivated by
Order of Magnitude Smaller Limit on the Electric Dipole Moment of the Electron
Spin precession measurements in the polar molecule thorium monoxide indicate a nearly spherical charge distribution of an electron, which constrains T-violating physics at the TeV energy scale.
Quark level and hadronic contributions to the electric dipole moment of charged leptons in the standard model
We evaluate the electric dipole moment of charged leptons in the standard model, where the complex phase of the Cabibbo-Kobayashi-Maskawa matrix is the only source of $CP$ violation. We first prove
