As a consequence of the Ward identity for hadronic matrix elements, we find relations between the differential decay rates of semileptonic decay modes with the underlying quark-level transition b → cτν, which are valid in scalar models. The decay-mode dependent scalar form factor is the only necessary theoretical ingredient for the relations. Otherwise, they combine measurable decay rates as a function of the invariant mass-squared of the lepton pair q2 in such a way that a universal decay-mode…

Hidden new physics in meson decays

A model-independent analysis of a non-standard pseudoscalar contribution to leptonic meson decays (π,K,D,Ds and B) is presented. As also seen from similar analyses in the literature, we find that two

Charged pion decay mediated by a non-standard scalar boson

A model-independent analysis of a non-standard scalar contribution to the pion decay in a lepton and a neutrino is presented. We discuss the necessity of such scalars in many models beyond the

The role of right-handed neutrinos in b ! c(cid:28)

: Motivated by the persistent anomalies reported in the b ! c(cid:28) (cid:22) (cid:23) data, we perform a general model-independent analysis of these transitions, in the presence of light

B →P and B →V form factors from B-meson light-cone sum rules beyond leading twist

We provide results for the full set of form factors describing semileptonic B-meson transitions to pseudoscalar mesons π, K, D¯\documentclass[12pt]{minimal} \usepackage{amsmath} \usepackage{wasysym}

It’s all right(-handed neutrinos): a new W 0 model for the R D ( (cid:3) ) anomaly

: The measured B -meson semi-leptonic branching ratios R D and R D (cid:3) have long-standing deviations between theory and experiment. We introduce a model which explains both anomalies through a

Consequences of R-parity violating interactions for anomalies in ¯ B → D ( ∗ ) τ ¯ ν and b → s μ + μ −

We investigate the possibility of explaining the enhancement in semileptonic decays of ¯ B → D ( ∗ ) τ ¯ ν , the anomalies induced by b → s μ + μ − in ¯ B → ( K , K ∗ , φ)μ + μ − and violation of

Heavy-Quark expansion for ¯ B s → D ( ∗ ) s form factors and unitarity bounds beyond the SU ( 3 ) F limit

We carry out a comprehensive analysis of the full set of ¯ B q → D ( ∗ ) q form factors for spectator quarks q = u , d , s within the framework of the Heavy-Quark expansion (HQE) to order O (cid:2) α

Anomalies in B-decays and U(2) flavor symmetry

The collection of a few anomalies in semileptonic B-decays invites to speculate about the emergence of some strikingly new phenomena. Here we offer a possible interpretation of these anomalies in the
