OBJECTIVES To determine the frequency and factors associated with relapse in multibacillary leprosy. DESIGN We performed a retrospective cohort study on multibacillary leprosy patients treated at Centro Dermatologico Federico Lleras Acosta between January 1994 and December 2004.
